Is This Your emerging leader?

The Challenges of Emerging Leaders

As an emerging leader or new manager, you may recognize some of these common struggles. This program is built to help you work through each one — with practical skills, coaching, and real support.

  • Moving from 'go-to person' or technical expert to a leader of people and projects.
The instincts that made you great individually — solving it yourself, being the answer — don't automatically translate to leading a team.

  • Unsure how to set expectations or give honest, high-stakes feedback.
Avoiding the hard conversation feels safer in the moment, but it erodes trust and performance over time.

Balancing your own workload while supporting a team and senior leadership.

  • New leaders are often still doing their old job while learning a new one — with no roadmap for how to prioritize both.

Nervous about difficult conversations, performance issues, or safety accountability.
Without practice and tools, high-stakes conversations get postponed — and the underlying issues don't go away on their own.

Wanting to show up as a leader — not just 'helping out.'

  • There's a real difference between being liked as a peer and being trusted as a leader — and most people are never taught how to make that shift.

Struggling with the transition from buddy to boss.
Leading people you used to work alongside brings its own tension, especially around fairness and authority.

  • Ready to lead, but imposter syndrome is standing in the way.
Confidence doesn't always arrive with the title — it's built through practice, support, and small wins.
